Born in Winterthur in 1957, I relocated to the French-speaking part of Switzerland in 1986.

I received my first box of watercolors in 1991. This was the start of an amazing adventure.

Over the years, I attended various drawing and painting classes. This is how I met Jean-Pierre Grélat. After a few years of course in a classroom,

Jean-Pierre started teaching classes in his studio in Geneva. This is how I learned a lot of new aspects of painting, using different materials such as pigments, metallic filing dust and collages. I have been applying these techniques to my creations for several years now.

I am always curious to try out new techniques and experiment, without knowing how my painting will turn out, which allows me to constantly discover new things. The basic techniques of oil, acrylic and watercolor painting are however respected and never forgotten and still used for new creations.

I love the warm colors of fall, earth and rust, so you will find them very often in my paintings.

Do not look for my paintings' titles: they do not exist! My paintings are either a figurative subject and I hope it is clear enough for you to recognize it, or they are a whimsical composition and I will leave it to your imagination. I do not like to impose my ideas and my vision of things – you are totally free to interpret what you see or what you want to see.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you had a nice time discovering my paintings.
